Forgot to file Form

No worries the IRS will send you a letter to the address on file to notify the organization to submit the required form. Just simply file for the 990-N form as soon as possible, the IRS will not penalize organizations for a late submission. While there is no late penalty for late filing Form 990-N, organizations that fail to file required Forms 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N for three consecutive years will automatically lose their tax-exempt status. A revocation of the organization’s tax-exempt status will occur on the filing due date of the third consecutively missed year.
